June

I'm so far behind in everything I'm just throwing June into one post with the things I can remember due to the fact I took pictures about the events.

We are trying to potty train Alec (still at it here in late August and going no where with it).
Sat him on the pot one night and left to help someone else.  When I came back he had his shorts on like this.  Cracked me up.
Todd had a week long trip in China and for the first time ever, the girls had asked him to bring back some souvenirs.  He bought them each a dress and Alec a cool black top and pants.  The girls looked so pretty wearing them to church all together.

Olivia was signed up for a soccer camp and one night it was called off due to rain and lightening.  Since we had everyone out and it was late (Todd was out of town again) we decided to treat ourselves to the new Bahama Bucks.  It was a fun and yummy treat.
On top of having a soccer camp at night, swim team in the morning, Olivia also did a short ballet camp.  She had been begging for months to take ballet so I thought this fun little camp my friend was putting on would be a great way to introduce her to it.  Well she loved it and she took another camp later this summer and we've signed her up for classes this fall.
With the new baby, selling our home and renovating the new home, I tried to get out once a week and do something fun with the kids.  The girls love to roller skate so that was one of the first fun activities we did when school was out.  They beg to go more often than I can get them there but I do try!
We didn't swim at the neighborhood pool as much as we have in past summers.  I think we just got busy doing other things.  However, I do love watching my kids all scooter down the street together and helping each other cross the road.  We are usually the loudest group at the pool and I feel we are a circus where ever we go.

They all started jumping into the pool together a few times and finally I was smart enough to record it because it was so cute how they'd hold hands and jump.

Daddy Daughters Date

Can I tell you how much I love Chick-Fil-A!  They hosted a Daddy Daughter date the weekend of Father's Day.  All we had to do was sign up for a time.  There was a short menu and it was only $6 a person.

Todd took the girls to a designated car wash spot down the street where he dropped off his car for a free wash while a limo then drove them to CFA.  All the pictures below are curtesy of the photographer they had there.

Before the date, there was lots of crying and screaming of "I don't want to go!" and "This is going to be stupid."  We forced the girls to change into Sunday dresses and go and they were happy they did.

Todd and his girls

The table was set up with crayons and paper and this is what the girl's decorated - notice the "this is awesome!" that was written by the one who said it was going to be stupid.
 Fun decorations

Another capture - "I am a Dad so don't mess with me"
This was such a great hit that I'm going to make Todd do it again next year!  Thanks CFA!
